This #9 "ERIE" by GRISWOLD,cast iron skillet ,9 with D ,pn 713, is in excellent condition. No cracks or repairs,no rust,no pitting and not warped. Sits flat on a hard surface. Cooking surface is very smooth to the touch with some utensil marks. Milling marks have pretty much vanished from this old beauty. The bottom has a couple small casting bubbles and an area of some slight roughness just right of center. Over all a good casting. This skillet is a very good pan for this vintage,made with outstanding quality and now looks very much like it did when it came from the factory over 100 yrs ago! Display it or use it! Has been cleaned and lightly seasoned to prevent rust. Insurance available and recommended! No reserve! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
