ESTATE Antique Vtg Hand Quilted EMBROIDERED 48 STATE & Flowers PINK Quilt 72x90" From original family comes this charming vintage quilt that is all hand done. Features hand embroidered state names and their flowers for 48 states done on muslin. Quilt was made in the 1940's. The embroidery work is detailed and exquisite. Hand sewn with pink cotton blocks and pretty scalloped edging. All hand quilted with each pink block having a quilted 5-point star. The quilt measures 72 by 90 inches. It was well loved and used. Over the years it has been carefully mended using netting and in 2 places, some fabric glue. It has no funny odors. I did find a couple of tiny spots as shown in photos. There is minor fading consistent with age and use. Please see photos as they are considered part of the description. Let me know if you need further information. Being sold as is.
