Estate Vintage PAIR of PICO AUTOMATIC SUPER LIGHTERS~NR Fresh From a Fabulous South Florida Estate! No Reserve, Ever! ESTATE COLLECTION VINTAGE RONSON & NEW COLLECTIBLE ZIPPO LIGHTERS We have acquired a large collection of Evans, Ronson and Zippo Lighters from a South Florida Estate. The Lighters will be up for auction starting Thursday of each week and ending the following Thursday. The last two pictures below represents the total collection of Lighters. This Auction is for a Pair of PICO Automatic Super Lighters. I believe they are either Rare or Scarce. I did some research and could not find any listing for either the Company nor the Lighters, especially coming in a set of his and hers with felt cases. This is a wonderful opportunity for the collector or for a great gift. They are in the original box and appear to be unused. They are Art Deco style with nameplates. The nameplates have not been monogrammed. They are brushed chrome. Ronson has a long and illustrious history of producing high quality cigar and cigarette lighters as well as stylish smoking accessories and figural items for home, office and commercial use. The Company was created by Louis V. Aronson in 1886, and first opened in New York City. Today the Company is in Somerset, N.J. Ronson created the "Press it's lit, Release it's out" style of lighter. That was the point that had brought them to be successful. That was in the mid 1920's. Zippo windproof lighters represent one of the fastest growing categories in the world of collectibles. Zippo started manufacturing their Lighters in 1932 and have manufactured over 250 million Lighters to this day. The Ronson Lighters and Cigarette cases are Vintage, however some have never been used. The Zippo Lighters are new. The Zippo collection is a variety of lighters which Zippo made specifically for Viet Nam. They have Cities and Dates including pictures and phrases pertaining to the Vietnamese War. Over the years Zippo has made windproof lighters for many World wide events. They have honored NASA with a series of lighters from 1969-1970. In 1976 they did a bicentennial series and in 1980 manufactured lighters for both the Democratic and Republican parties. They have manufactured lighters representing animals, cars, sports, presidents just to name a few. They have geometric, backyard insects, scrimshaw and many more. T is a large variety of Zippo Lighters in their original boxes. Each Zippo Lighter has a coding chart which indicates when each Lighter was manufactured. Dots, dashes, roman numeral and the alphabet is used to determine each Zippo Lighters date. We will list the date of each Zippo up for auction. The Ronson Lighters do not have exact manufacture dates. We have a collection of approximately 200 Vintage and New Collectible Lighters. The smaller lighter is 1- 1/2 " high and 1- 7/8 " wide. Condition: Very Good. We have not tested the lighter. Very minor scratches on the lighters. The box is worn and slightly damaged.
