2nd Generation Eversharp WHAL Doric. Beautiful celluloid Green Shell Art Deco styling gold tone metal cap edge. The Airline feature is the ink shutoff safety that is triggered when the cap is closed to keep ink from flowing while in your pocket or travel case. This pen is filled by a One Shot vacuum filler plunger, the plunger is pulled out and the pen tip is placed in the ink bottle and plunger is pushed in to vacuum the ink into the pen. I could not get a clear photo but Eversharp is also embossed in plastic of ink cap very difficult to see.I am not a pen expert I can only tell by what I see and this pen is clean in good to very good condition and the plunger seems to operate smoothly but I have not tested it with ink.Apparently a very sought after writing instrument.Item will be shipped free in the United States and will be insured.
