The clear glass-like finish of these eyes comes from an optical grade material, like that which is used in reading glasses. That’s why they sparkle with clarity. You can apply a clear gloss varnish, like Baby Tears over the entire eye to add a wet look. Both the natural human eye and Real Eyes Brand Doll Eyes® have a built in magnifying glass called the “lens” which is located right over the top of the iris. This gives depth to the eyes! The lens of the eye focuses light directly into the iris which is the colored part of the eye. This makes the color of the eyes bright and vivid.
