Influential German Sgraffito Insized Floral Design w/Slip Trailing. Bent Copper Wire & Stick Handle. Near Mint Condtion, Cm Chip On Ear. Measurements: Approx. Height 5.1/2" Not Including Handle. Length 6.1/2". Diameter 5.1/4". American Redware Pottery was introduced by German Immigrants during the 17th century. Today t is more interest in this type of pottery than ever before. The German floral theme has the most desirability in the Pennsylvania Redware Pottery. This lovely lidded bowl is a rarity in design and has significant importance to the collector.
