This pair of porcelain figurines was produced in Germany by A.W.Fr.Kister, Scheibe-Alsbach KPM in 1887. The boy is 13 1/2 inches high and 7 1/2 inches wide. The girl is 13 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches wide. They are made of high quality hard paste porcelain. Both figures are modeled in wonderful detail, each one standing on a base of a monstrous creature. Each figure is hand painted and gilded in incredible detail. This extraordinary pair of figurines is quite rare and in excellent condition.
