You are bidding on one Extremely Rare, Circa 1896, William McKinley & Garret Hobart, Brass Mechanical Bee, Political Campaign Pin in Excellent Working Condition. The wings of the mechanical brass bee have the images of President & Vice President Political Candidates...William McKinley & Garret Hobart...please see my series of photos. The mechanical brass bee has a tiny lever at the tip of it's tail that controls the spring activated wings of the bee. When you pull the tiny lever, the spring activated wings extend with the images of the President and Vice President Candidates. Please see my photos of the wings retracted and extended. The mechanical brass bee pin measures 1.25 inches tall, and 1 & 5/8 inches wide with the wings extended. Please see the series of photos to appreciate this RARE find.
