Price of shipping will be calculated when you send us your shipping address and zip or postal code. This unique and rare piece of Hollywood's legendary studio history can now be yours. This Green Flower Bowl/Planter dates back to the 1940's/50's and was used as a prop at Desilu Studios in Hollywood, California on a bevy of television shows and movies filmed at the studio including I Love Lucy, the Lucy and Desi Comedy Hour, The Andy Griffith Show, Dick Van Dyke, My Three Sons, Star Trek and many, many more as a background prop. It was also used in Lucy's personal dressing room for several special televised interviews, as this shade of green was one of Lucy's personal favorite colors. Measuring 9" wide by 4-1/2" high and 4-1/2" deep in tones of light green with creamy highlights in its glaze. The base has a molded raised/line pattern on the front and back and there is one tiny kiln flaw under the glaze at the foot. Typical of planter containers of the period, this was probably made in America however is unmarked.
