EZTEC or Scientific G scale engine lettered forPennsylvania and tender (coal car) lettered for Central Pacific in excellent condition. EZTEC now makes trains that were marketed as Scientific. All engines, cars and tracks are interchangeable. This engine is remote controlled. I do not have the remote. I tested this engine with another remote that I had. Remote works forward and stop and reverse. Engine and remote are both 27.145 MHz. If you have a remote that is marked 27.145, it will work with this engine. The remote is shown in the last picture, but is not included with this engine. This engine makes chuf-chuf, whistle and All Aboard sounds. Engine has working headlight. Fresh batteries were put in the tender and the engine works perfectly. Requires 1 9 volt and 6 "C" batteries. Engine will work in forward only, without the remote, if you turn the bell and push on the steam dome. Engine and tender are in excellent condition, no damage or broken parts. Wheels and couplers are in good condition and ready to roll on your layout. Overall length is 23 inches. Engine will fit any "G" scale track with the rails 1-3/4" apart.
