I am EXTREMELY pleased to offer for sale this FABULOUS EAST LAKE CARNIVAL GAME WHEEL IN TERRIFIC PAINT. This game wheel is an OUTSTANDING piece of nicely painted folk art with Eastlake decoration probably dating to the last quarter of the 19th century. May have been used at a carnival or on a riverboat. The wheel is exactly 24" in diameter and is painted red, white and blue with black pin striping and number painted in silver and cobalt blue. The cross brace is 1 1/2" thick with chamfered corners, front and back.It is painted green and black with silver and gold Eastlake decoration. The ends of the cross brace have numerous lead pegs for balancing or truing the wheel. The axle is a 5/16" carriage bolt. The longest pointer was originally painted gold.
