these are fabulous! and in excellent shape! they measure in at just over four inches tall, and are probably from the early thirties maybe even earlier. these came to us from basement of an old cafe in idaho. that has been closed for years, the building the cafe was in was part of an old hotel which was convereted into officesand later multi uses. i know the owner of the building personally, and we were talking one day, and he mentioned t was a bunch of stuff from the cafe still in the basement, i just recently took a trip back t, and i got these and some others and some other things out of t, these literally have not been touched in probably fifty or more years, these were grease covered, and totally black soot covered from the old furnace, and so gross! all we did was soak them in amonia water, and run them through the dishwasher. so i think a person could take some brasso and really make these babies shine if you wanted. we picked all the broken and chipped and bent ones out, so what you are getting is the cream of the crop. t may be a tiny ding on the metal lids, or some tiny flea bites on the rims on the inside, but no biggie, and look at the swirls in the glass, and almost how crudely made these are. if you like jadeite you will be very pleased with these! buyer to pay 5.85 s/h unless coupled with any of our other auctions, read more
