VINTAGEFAIRBAIRN SYKESP-3" WWII COMMANDO KNIFE "" THIRD PATTERN "&ORIGINALSHEATHMADE IN1940'sGREAT" WWII FAIRBAIRN COMMANDO KNIFE "11-13/16" O.A.L.FAIRBAIRN SYKESWWIICOMMANDO KNIFEVintage Fairbairn Sykes WWII Copper Flashed Alloy Handles Third Pattern Commando Dagger and Original Sheath with Metal tip and very early strap, these were hand sewn and the little piece on the back of the top has come loose and is being held on with scotch tape for the time. This knife and sheath appears unused but has succumb to the test of time and there's a little rust on the sheaths metal parts. It's very lite but present. The finger guard is stamped England and around that stamp the looks a little rough but I think it was made in this fashion originally. The #4 appears near the top of the handle and the factory edge and finish is intact as originally made. The Knife measures 11-13/16" O.A.L. and is very cool feeling when being held. The Handles of these third pattern knives are Copper flashed over an alloy and some folks mistakenly think thier brass but they're not. It's never been cleaned and what you see is the way it has aged over the years. Great WWII Collectible Knife Set.This is a very highly sought after WWII knife and would be a Collectible knife for anyone.HERE'S A LINK/third-pattern.htmlNo Packaging or Papers"Don't let this great collectible read more
