I am thrilled to offer this marvelous one of a kind find. This lovely piece carries a rich history and is a must have for any collector. Made of solid wood, this is the best little wooden bird in a delicate cage. So divine! It caught my eye right away as I have never seen anything quite like it. Made so incredibly well, it retains its original barn red paint with great bold black features, a wonderful deep royal blue an just a touch of bold mustard yellow. So fun! The details on this piece are amazing...from the shape, size and even a the natural texture of a hand carved piece all make this piece is a must have. Certianly a museum quality piece perfect for the collector. Just a great example of American folk art at its best. Display it any way you'd like...set it on the windowsill, in a cabinet, on a hutch or even among a collection of others. Even hang it! Lots of possibilities!It is a one of a kind so you will never see another like it. Signed on the bottom by the artist. Measures a generous 7.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
