FANTASTIC JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD MIXED METAL VASE/PLANTER CRANES & Mt FUJI DESIGN Presented is a lovely Japanese Meiji period mixed metal vase or planter. This piece features beautiful scenes done in gold, silver, copper and bronze, set into the base metal of patinated bronze. There is a scene of Mount Fuji, various types of trees, and cranes in flight, all nicely done. The planter sits on three long feet, and has a decorative handle on either side of the rim. This piece is signed on the underside and on the side, with hallmarks we unfortunately cannot read. This piece is in great condition. There are no dents, no gouges, no breaks, and no repairs.
