This is a great old black & white group photo with the caption: FRANKLIN CO. PA. FARMERS AT ARLINGTON EXPERIMENTAL FARMS AUGUST, 8 1928. Bottom left reads: PHOTO BY WASH. PHOTO CO., 607 PA. AVE. N.W. A very nice old photo, in good condition. No stains fading or tears.(THE PURPLE HAZE IN THE PHOTOS IS FROM THE CAMERA FLASHAND IS NOT ACTUALLY ON THE PHOTO ...SORRY) T are hundreds of faces. The ages of these folks range from a few years old, to their 60's or 70's,men, women and children. And you can certainly tell this was the late roaring twenties by the ladies dresses and fabulous hats. I've tried to get photos of all the faces, The barn is clearly visible in the background. Size of the photo is 35 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches. Overall size including frame is 38 x 11 1/2 inches. The frame is solid wood and is good and sturdy with some minor scuffs and scrapes along the edges (which would easily touch up) **********************I strive to provide clear photos and accurate descriptions, so please review them closely.
