FASCINE KNIFE WWI FRENCH COLONIAL WITH SCABBARD This is a WWI French Fascine or brush Knife made in 1916 in Paris , France . These brutal looking knifes have very thick, heavy blades and rough wooden war-time production handles. This original Fascine knife has the original leather scabbard with the stitched-on belt loop on the back that is still strong and functional. The knife fits well into the simple original scabbard. It is not horrid and fits into the patina of the handle revealing the true character of a field used bolo. The original finish on the steel blade is about 50% worn off.
