Fenix Telecaster style Multi-piece Ash guitar body stripped for guitar build project Here we have a Telecaster style solid wood guitar body which was attached to a Fenix telecaster neck. The body is made up of at least 5 pieces of solid ash or ash-like wood and has been stripped and re-lacquered. This appears to have been done some years ago as the lacquer has mellowed nicely to a honey blonde colour. The original finish was either white or cream as can be seen from paint residue in the neck and pickup sockets. This would be ideal for a cheap guitar build project. The body has been well used as a guitar and there are light marks, scratches and finish blemishes all over. All in all not bad (or randomly relic'ed) cosmetic and excellent functional condition - please see pictures. It is routed for a standard telecaster 2 single coil pickup configuration, and a standard 4 screw, through body telecaster style bridge. More than one pickguard has been fitted in the past as can be seen from the resulting holes. The control cavity is on the front and the wiring channels are all drilled as well as the side jack rout. The chrome strap buttons and body ferrules are included. This is sold as is, so please ask all questions before bidding.
