This auction is for a rare Apple Green Wild Rose and Bowknot Vase, made by the Fenton Art Glass Company in 1961. This Vase is 7 1/2 inches tall and is 5 inches across. Beautiful apple (medium) green color.....intricate wild rose and bowknot design. This vase is in excellent condition....no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. It is pre-makers mark, but this line is pictured and described in "The Big Book of Fenton Glass 1940 - 1970", by John Walk, on page # 166. This vase was made in 4 colors....I believe that the Apple Green was the most unusual. This vase has not been made by fenton in 47 years. The line was only made by Fenton for 1 year. Great color...great design....limited 1 year production. Great addition to any vintage fenton collection.....great gift item for that special collector in your life.
