FENTON ART GLASS 'GROOMING CAT', "NATURAL" COLLECTION, SPRING 2007 #5074 AZ Meticulously hand painted by a Fenton artist and has the added attraction of a Swarovski gemstone, this grooming cat is 4" tall. Attached is the Fenton silver logo sticker and it comes in it's original box. *All Fenton items are hand painted and fired individually. No two pieces will be exactly alike. ** We have been a Fenton Dealer since 1995 reaching Gold Showcase status and in the top 50 Dealers in the country. All Fenton items listed are from our store inventory and are first quality Fenton. We continue to be a dealer of Fenton glass carrying their glass jewelry line - hand painted glass beads, for bracelets and necklaces, and glass hand painted earrings. Fenton Art Glass was started in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton in Martin's Ferry, Ohio with his $280, brother John's $4.86 and funds raised by stock sales. They bought glass blanks on which they painted decorations. They soon found that they had trouble getting glass from other companies and decided to make their own. In 1907 they moved the factory to Williamstown, W.V. and continued to produce first quality glass until 2011 when they ceased making decorative glassware.
