Welcome to my auction! I have about 300 pieces of beautiful Carnival Glass. Please check my other listings for items you might like! This auction is for a Cobalt Blue Carnival Glass Bowl. This is the "Grape & Cable" pattern made by the Fenton Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is unmarked. You can reference this pattern in the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass, 9th Edition on page 122. Wow! These colors are so bright and vivid! Isn't this gorgeous? This stunning Bowl measures 7 1/8" in diameter on three spatula feet. This Bowl has the brightest reds and variations of reds that I've seen in awhile. It reminds me of those big boxes of crayons we used to get every Christmas - this Bowl has Red, red/orange, Violet Red, green, yellow, and more - all with a frosty background rarely seen from Fenton. You can see the blue base shining through a little bit on the grapes, and it just makes the iridescence seem even brighter. Just amazing! Taking the pictures inside lightened up the iridescence just a bit - it's a little deeper than it looks. Excellent condition - a little manufacturing rough spots on the feet, nothing even close to being a chip. It's beautiful! No chips, cracks or repairs. Check out my other items !
