Please . 1902 - True Stone Chromolithograph: Fiber Plants (Fibre Plants) Satisfaction Guaranteed 5 varieties of Fiber Plants with commercial (or recreational!) potential are illustrated and identified: 1. Ramie 2. Jute 3. Bowstring Hemp 4. Hemp - Cannabis Sativa 5. Cotton This is a true stone chromolithograph - dated 1902 on the face. It appeared as a bookplate in a fine set of 1903 encyclopedias. The sheet size is about 6.25" x 9", and the boxed area is about 5 x 8. It has the rich saturated colors characteristic of the stone litho process and the printing quality is excellent. A beautiful print! - exquisitely printed by Julius Bien & Co., NYC one of the finest US lithographers of the early 20th century. Condition is as shown.
