Fine Japanese Religious Kakejiku Hanging Scroll #35778 Item No : #35778 Item : Kakejiku Material : Kenpon(Silk) Weight : 1.18kg Height : 191.0cm 75 1/4" Width : 72.5cm 28 1/2" Depth : 2.0cm 0 3/4" This is a kakejiku(scroll) with many Shuin?red stamps from shirines) dated Heisei Gannen(1,989).Originally, during Heian period, worshipper went to shrines to pray for being a good health and got this stamps as a proof of worships.This special kind of scroll is called Noukyou-jiku (scroll which is copies a sutra and offer it to a temple) and can complete this after visiting many shrines(Can you see how many they are!).This is a pilgrim in the 88sacred places in Shikoku,so t are 88 of shrines which has different stamps and buddhist monk is sitting calmly in the middle.The golden bar across on the bottom and on top,fabulous fringes give a nice accent to it and comes in an original wooden box.It has some patina,stains specially on the back and metal has some scratches and box has some flaws,but as a whole it is in very good condition.This is so different from any kakejiku and makes your empty wall so outstanding for sure! *The pictures in the middle are printed. shipping is the shipping cost example: Express Mail fully insured $35.50(to USA) $40.70(to Europe) 4-5business days Standard mail by SAL $37.90(to Europe) 14-16business days Payment
