Fine Two Piece Meiji Manju Ivory Lacqquer Gilt Netsuke Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album I am very pleased to offer with NO reserve price, this very fine two piece manju ivory netsuke of five butterflies. The butterflies are superbly done in a beautiful lacquer and gilt work. It measures 1.55" in diameter and is unsigned. The quality ivory carries a pronounced cross hatched grain and lovely mellow patina. The condition is very good with one area of wear in the lacquer. All in all, a very special manju offered with NO reserve. Authenticity and condition are guaranteed with all of my items. This piece comes from a rather extensive netsuke/okimono collection. I have been commissioned by the owner to offer the majority of this collection on ebay.
