Patsy Baby 5 Piece Hand Knit Dress Set Made with soft Antique White fingering yarn, this is a five piece hand knit dress, panties, bonnet and booties. It will fit your Patsy Baby, Arranbee Dream Baby or any 10” composition or plastic baby doll. The dress has puffy sleeves and buttons in the back with three pearl buttons. The button placket overlaps to give a better fit at the bodice. The front of the bodice is knit with a half linen stitch which gives a suggestion of smocking. It is edged with Antique White lace along the waist and along the neckline. The hem of the dress is finished with a decorative pattern stitch. The bonnet is tied with an Antique White embossed satin ribbon and trimmed with Antique White lace. The neck edge of the bonnet is knit with short rows for a better fit at the neckline. The panties are like a diaper cover, but slip on. They are trimmed in the front with an embossed Antique White bow and edged along the leg openings with matching Antique White lace. The back of the panties are knit with a technique called “short rows”, which makes a little bump in the knitted fabric, giving room for a baby bottom and a better fit.
