It has an elastic strap to attach it to your saddle, as well three cotton string ties. Considering the size and shape of this item, it will probably fit a Western saddle with no problem, but will most likely be too big, as well as the wrong shape, for most English saddles. This belongs to a client who is cleaning out her tack room. This is a great item for anyone who spends a lot of time in saddle and really helps your hips and seatbones be less sore after a long ride. It is in excellent shape and is basically brand new. It retails for $40 brand new.DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT THE SEAT SAVER:This Go West model seat saver is made by Fleeceworks and is made from thick and cushy black genuine Merino fleece. T is no size noted on the item. T is one piece of elastic to attach it to the saddle, most likely around the back of the cantle. T are three cotton string ties on the item to help secure it in place. The seat saver measures 18-1/2 inches down the center (front to back), 14 inches across at the widest part at the back of the seat, and 6 inches across at the narrowest part in the front.
