Flexaret V a, Meopta's Czech TLR CLA Flexaret cameras were really cult classic in former Czechoslovakia. I am in fact happy that some of you like them, too. They were produced in Prerov city. Because they were really workhorses we used them long time for serious work - before the Pentacon six era. Flexaret Va was in production in years 1958-59. Camera differs from Flexaret V with a presence of the rewind knob for 35mm film (from photographers position on the left side near bottom) and is much more common than Flexaret V.This camera is until today capable to take fully acceptable pictures. Principally it is not worse than later types. The famous world known Czech art photographer Saudek still prefer use this camera - he likes it. Flexaret V is twin-lens reflex camera for roll film of 12 pictures 6x6 cm. Film feed: by a knob with simultaneous winding-up of shutter. Picture counter: automatic. Release: blocked with advancing of film. With adapters is possibly to takes pictures on 35mm film, too.I do not know why but this type of Flexaret has exceptionally high value in Kadlubek's catalogue - 2 times more than for example Flexaret I. This is one of serious mistakes in this catalogue that is very poor made in parts about Czechoslovakian cameras. I shall glad change 5 Flexaret Va cameras against one Flexaret I. Description: Ser. No. 94060 . Viewfinder lens is Anastigmat 3/80, single coated, ser. No. 78490 ; camera lens Belar 3.5/80, single coated, stops 3.5-22, ser. No. 200916 . Camera lens is 4 segment Tessar type. Shutter is Metax with speeds 1-1/300 and B. Cosmetically is this camera EXCELLENT+ . Black edges with usual but small mark on back above closing system and otherwise with minor wearon bottom. Leattte without marks. Waist level finder with few scratches on side. No marks on lens chrome rim. Including case and cap.Camera was recently overhauled tfore works properly, shutter speeds look appropriate. Glass on lenses is clean, no fungus. Few countable light cleaning scratches on front coating are visible from rear end only. They will not affect pictures for sure. Glass in nice for this type. (Now if you think that you can a void scratches on Belar lens buying same camera by other seller you are naive - nearly all simply do not write about them). It is very hard find unscratched Belar lens. I bet that 90% of Belar lenses have scratches - and look how many sellers are writing about scratched glass. Focusing and stopping is smooth. Flash synchro contact works. Selftimer works. Viewfinder is clean. Air mail shipping and handling charge is WORLDWIDE EXCLUDING EUROPE $41 ; to EUROPE (including countries those are not in European union) $26 . Packet is insured. If post will confirm that it was lost or damaged (you need claim by delivery) I will replace it - when impossible refund the full amount. I need wait for post confirmation, too many crooks lately trying to have both item and money. It is included in it incombinable $5 packing and handling charge that remains by combined shipping. Rest of charge I will combine and calculate just true shipping charge for packet to your country if you will purchase more items. Expected delivery time is about 2 weeks. Combined shipping saves often costs per item considerably but not in all situations, ask about exact items. By cheap item is possible ship uninsured - this will cost $3 less, but I will do it only if you will declare that you will not make Paypal claim if packet will be lost by transport.
