Flexaret VI Meopta's Czech Czechoslovakia TLR CLA Flexaret cameras were really cult classic in former Czechoslovakia. I am in fact happy that some of you like them, too. They were produced in Prerov city. Because they were really workhorses we used them long time for serious work - before the Pentacon six era.Flexaret VI was in production in years 1961-1967. This camera is until today capable to take quality pictures (well acceptable for example by enlarging 14 x 11 and even larger) and mechanically and optically is better than for example later Russian Lubitel 166 U!And you can use it for medium and 35-mm format!!!Flexaret VI is twin-lens reflex camera for roll film of 12 pictures 6x6 cm or 33-35 pictures of size 24x36 mm in 35 mm roll film. Film feed: by a knob with simultaneous winding-up of shutter. Picture counter: automatic for 12 pictures. Release: blocked with advancing of film. Central, five-lamella type shutter. Usually with Metax shutter. Prontor SVS shutter by Flexaret VI is very rare. 98% of cameras are with Metax shutter. Description: Ser. No. 5-116760 . Viewfinder lens is Meopta Anastigmat 3/80, single coated, ser. No. 5-116760 ; camera lens Belar 3.5/80, single coated, stops 3.5-22, ser. No. 63121 . Camera lens is 4 segment Tessar type. Shutter is Metax with speeds 1-1/400 and B. Cosmetically is this camera EXCELLENT- . Leattte without marks but is dirty. Black edges with usual mark above door`s lock and otherwise with minor wear on bottom. Few scratches on advance knob. Viewfinder with some wear on edges and more marks on sides. No marks on chrome on taking lens rim. Including case but without cap.Camera was recently CLA tfore works properly, shutter speeds are appropriate. Glass on taking lens is clean, no fungus. Light cleaning scratches on front coating are visible from rear end only. They will not affect pictures for sure. It is very hard find unscratched Belar lens. I bet that 90% of Belar lenses have scratches - and look how many sellers are writing about scratched glass. Focusing and stopping is smooth. Flash synchro contact works. Selftimer works. Viewfinder is clean. I believe camera is well usable but due to serial No it is collectible item. Air mail shipping and handling charge is WORLDWIDE EXCLUDING EUROPE $41 - INSURED; to EUROPE (including countries those are not in European union) $26 REGISTERED BUT UNINSURED (letter) or $33 INSURED (parcel - wait for my invoice if you want use this option). If post will confirm that insured packet was lost or damaged (you need claim by delivery) I will replace it - when impossible refund the full amount. I need wait for post confirmation, too many crooks lately trying to have both item and money. It is included in it incombinable $5 packing and handling charge that remains by combined shipping. Rest of charge I will combine and calculate just true shipping charge for packet to your country if you will purchase more items. Expected delivery time is about 2 weeks. Combined shipping saves often costs per item considerably but not in all situations, ask about exact items. By cheap item is possible ship unregistered - this will cost $3 less, but I will do it only if you will declare that you will not make Paypal claim if packet will be lost by transport.
