This auction is for a very good Flight Barr & Barr plate; gadrooned edge with an armorial of the Lawrence faamily ( sadly no idea Which Lawrence family) and the motto, In the cross is salvation. On the back is the FBB impressed mark--as usual hard to see or photograph and a nice retailers mark from Coventry Street in London. Please see pictures but also the condition report Size; the plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter Condition ; mixed; the enamels and gold are fairly good and the crest and the retailers mark readable. But the piece has been in three pieces and re-stuck---no restoration or paint just a clean stick It is an excellent piece for study or display.
