This piece measures 3.5 inches (9cm) long, 1.75 inches (4.5cm) wide and 2.25 inches (6cm) high. It is handpainted with six vignettes of exotic birds to the outside. The interiors each have a vignette of exotic birds, two little insects and a butterfly or dragonfly beneath a richly gilded and ornate border. It is marked to the underside with the blue crossed swords of Meissen which have been cut, probably because one of the pots is slightly misshapen and/or has suffered glaze slip and the handle is skew-whiff. Condition otherwise is excellent with no chips, cracks or scratches, no rubbing and no restoration. We are happy to try to answer questions and to send further photos by email if requested. Because of this we do not pack items until after the end of the auction. Therefore, any postal costs given are realistic estimates only and the actual cost may differ slightly either way. Any item paid for through Paypal will only be sent using a signed for service to the buyer's Paypal designated delivery address. We will no longer accept payment through Paypal for collected items. These must be paid for by cleared cheque or cash on collection.
