Here we have a very nice flint fossil echinoid, Micraster sp. This specimen is approx 45mm by 45mm, and has probably the best colouration out of any of the previous specimens i,ve collected. It was collected by myself along the Kent coastline. It shows very clear detail, and exhibits browns and blacks throughout this specimen, giving it a tortoise shell appearance. Cretaceous, upper chalk, Thanet Kent, circa 80m.y.o Thanks for looking
