This is a lovely vintage eiderdown in very good original condition, circa 1940s. The eiderdown is covered with a pretty glazed cotton cambric. It has thesame floral design on both sides of flower posies and leaves in shades of pale pink, raspberry, violet, lemon, and lime green on a pale creamy pink ground. It is edged with a narrow Oxford-style frill in the same fabric and it also has four small ventilation eyelets, one in each corner, which is the sign of an eiderdown of quality. The eiderdown is still plump, I would say 9/10 for plumpness, and it is filled with a mixture of feather and down. The channels are stitched into an attractive design in pink thread. The eiderdown is in a very good vintage condition with no stains, marks or fabric damage. It has a little age-related fading along the sides but this does not detract from the prettiness of the fabric. It is a single size and measures approximately 66" x 44". I have two eiderdowns for sale, both identical in colour and condition, at £60 each. Thanks for looking ~ from a smoke-free home
