Here is a very nice antique Folding Montauk Style I made by G. Gennert at the end of the 1800's. The camera is the 5x7 version. It has its original red bellows. The camera has had its leather covering removed and has been painted black. The door buttons on the front, back and side all work fine. It has its brass lens in a Unicom shutter. The shutter is not working. It has a very nice mahogany inside. The little brass central track inside the body is missing but the camera still closes fine and you can not notice it once you have moved the front standard out on the track on the bed. The ground glass in the back is cracked. The strap is not original. It might have some other smaller issues not noticed. A rare camera which looks great on display but could also be restored if one wanted to recover it. Please look at the pictures above. Check out my other auctions for more cameras and lenses. Buyer pays shipping and the shipping quote includes insurance.
