Beautiful copy of The English Opium-Eater by Thomas de Quincey, published by the Folio Society in the UK in 1992. Book is protected by a sturdy slipcase, has a beautiful ornate cover, and s hows absolutely no wear. I doubt it was ever read, and barely opened. Illustrations engraved on wood by Blair Hughes-Stanton, this is a book to treasure for years to come, or a great gift for the book lover in your life! Remember what your mama told you about getting what you pay for!
