Fostoria originally began producing high quality glass in the late 1800s and operated in Moundsville, West Virginia for many years. In the 1980s, Fostoria was purchased by Lancaster Colony Glass Co. and operated in Ohio for several years. It is no longer made and becomes harder to find and is more valuable every day!!! Don't miss out on this opportunity to add to your collection!!! The American pattern was designed by Philip Ebeling and patented in 1915. This was one of Fostoria's most popular selling patterns for over 67 years. Each piece is descibed as having a heavy pressed glassline featuring a prismatic cube design that rests atop a multi-faceted, smooth stem and base. The light radiates from these prisms.
