FOUR "MADE IN ENGLAND" POTTERY BURGESS & LEIGH MIDDLEPORT NON PAREIL FLOW BLUE 6 3/4" DESSERT PLATES. Non Pareil is one of the most desirable romantic or scenic flow blue patterns. There are scenes of castles, trees, mountains, and a Victorian couple around the rim as well as in the center. There are also flowers, leaves and swirl designs. It has a beautiful scalloped edge trimmed in a border. This is marked on the bottom with the Burgess & Leigh logo and name. This mark was used from 1889 to 1919. There are no chips or cracks on any of the four dessert plates. As stated in the condition report there are light utensil scratches in the center of the plate. This would be indicative of light use and exceptional care and storage of the plates for about a century. Pretty amazing! Payment is due within 48 hours of auction end. Thank you!
