Four Kunst Kronach Ruby Gilt Demitasse Cups & Saucers This gorgeous set of four (4) Kunst Kronach German porcelain demitasse cups and saucers is decorated with heavy gilt leaves on a ruby red ground over white eggshell porcelain. The lightly embossed details spill all over the rim of the saucer and the footing of the cup. The heavy gold centers have a paisley-like scrolled pattern. The red is a marvelous deep crimson counterpointed by the heavy gold centers and the delicate touches of gold atop the red. The cups feature a stylized scrolled C handle. The foot of each cup is scalloped as is the outer rim of the saucers. This is a set of four lovely, small and delicate porcelain cups and saucers with no chips, cracks, crazing or obvious wear. These estate cups are 3 1/2 inches across the mouth and stand just 2 inches high. The saucers are 5 inches in diameter. Each piece is clearly marked Kunst Kronach Bavaria on the bottom. They also are tagged Germany and have the gold numerals 404 and 75 on each piece. These tiny cups are the perfect addition to your table service or for a touch of color in your display.
