FRANCISCAN CROWN - or "ROSARY OF THE SEVEN JOYS OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN" Brown Wooden Rosary This is a 7 decade rosary that is used by Franciscans (including the Third Order Franciscan Tertiaries). It it made of brown wood beads. It has a beautifully detailed 1 1/2" metal San Damiano Crucifix with the Franciscan Coat of Arms and the Latin verse "Benedicat tibi dominus et custodiat te...". The centerpiece medal is round and shows St. Francis holding a Crucifix. The rosary measures 23 1/2" in length. I'm also including a copy of an old leaflet that explains the devotions of the Franciscan Crown Rosary.
