* Please note that this is a re-listing from several weeks ago. The winning bidder messaged me after the auction ended to say that he did not notice the staining to the cover prior to bidding. Since I already have the pictures/description on eBay, I thought I would just re-list the book. Sorry for any inconvenience.* Frankenstein Comics #1 from Summer, 1945.Very Good Minus condition with supple cream to off-white pages. Very attractive copy for the grade, with just a few defects keeping it from grading quite a bit higher: small 1/2" corner missing bottom right front cover. Small 1/2" tear to middle bottom front cover, bottom spine of covers, and middle bottom back cover edge. Several small, light smudge-like stains to the center front cover/by the middle right front cover (this is most noticeable when holding the book at an angle in direct light, and on the inside front cover). It almost looks like someone might have spilled something like milk on the cover, and this caused a 1-2" stain to the inside cover and some small smudges to the outside cover. Light ink writing top margin of first interior page.Otherwise book is beautiful, with nice & bright cover colors!
