Fred Harvey era, Southwestern Native American Indian petrified wood stamped Sterling silver cuff bracelet, unmarked but most likely Navajo. This piece showcases an uneven square stone that appears to have deep layers in many shades ranging from beige to brown, and a soft mustard yellow in some areas. Considering the layers and a bit of the petrified wood look, we believe this stone to be agate, but we do not know for sure. The stone is set in a smooth bezel and framed by a twisted wire border on top and bottom, and a ribbed border on both sides of the stone. The cabochon is secured to a two-tine carinated cuff hand-stamped down to the terminals. The heavy-gauge tines are adorned by a stamped silver applique near the stone, on both sides. This old beauty weighs approximately 36 grams, it's almost 1 3/8" wide, and measures 5 3/4" around the inside, end to end. The gap is just shy of 1 1/4". A classic handmade Navajo design with a beautiful stone with neutral tones.Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.sku 6254BR1
