FENDER JB75US/FC OLB/R JAPAN 75 REISSUE JAZZ BASS OK - The details first. Fender Japan 1975 reissue Jazz Bass in Old Lake Placid Blue metallic 2004-2005, on an R+6 digits serial number. Crafted in Japan. Features matching painted headstock. US pickups. Bound rosewood fretboard. THE GOOD Apart from a small ding on the back and a couple of very light scratches near the bridge, it's in excellent condition. Minimal wear to the frets and scratchplate. Still some celophane under the finger rest! Looks to have been used very little in its life, and has been kept in a gig bag - an official Fender one, which will be included with this bass. Comes with the original purchase and warranty documents, showing it was bought on the 28th October 2007 at Ishibashi music in Osaka. Also comes with original Fender Japan manual. Plays beautifully. No neck warp or noticeable fret ware. Cheapest of its kind on eBay - and a rare colour to boot! THE BAD As mentioned, there are a couple of minor marks to the paintwork. The ashtray covers for the bridge and pickup are NOT PRESENT. These can, however, be sourced easily online or from your local guitar shop. It needs a new set of strings. Easily sorted!
