Pressed bisque socket head with rounded plump facial modeling and defined chin, blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer irises, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brush stroked feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, Schmitt composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and flat-cut derriere, antique style lavender silk dress and bonnet, antique undergarments, stockings and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 Sch (crossed hammers in shield mark on head and derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1882. Value Points: appealing plump modeling complemented by gorgeous blue eyes and delicately blushed pale complexion, original body and body finish. From the Seeley Family Doll Collection.
