VINTAGE PATTERN You are bidding on a beautiful book by Sarah Howard Stone. She was the top dog when it comes to French Handsewing. I believe this book is now out of print and very difficult to purchase today. It is beautifully illustrated. I can't tell you how many garments I have made from this book. I personally do most of my heirloom sewing from the machine, and but Ms Stone did all hers by hand. She was a true artist. Her designs are exquisite. You really don't want to miss this one. T aren't many left.All you heirloom and doll sewers may want to keep an eye on my list as I am downsizing my sewing room and will be listing lots of lace and other sewing items that you may want to bid on.
