Offered is this lovely porcelain china pickle dish or relish bowl made in Limoges, France, by Haviland, during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The gently scalloped blank is known as Ranson or Schleiger no. 1. The gold trim is Schleiger no. 25. The bowl is decorated inside and outside with American Beauty roses and other pink flowers with green foliage touched with pink. Hand enameling appears throughout the design, outlining the flower petals and the center of the blossoms. This dish measures 7.25 inches long (18.5 cm) and stands 1.75 inches high (4.5 cm). It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Gold trim in very good condition. Questions welcomed. Thanks for looking.
