Fulper Bros., Flemington, New Jersey 1 Gallon Crock with Flower Coming to you from Doc's Crocks, America's Source for Antique Stoneware , is this wonderful 1 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "Fulper Bro s., Flemington, N. J." This is the mark of George Fulper and his brothers who ran the family pottery under this arrangement from 1881-1898 (see M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey , pp. 132-137). This beauty features a strong pottery stamp and a Brushed Cobalt Flower . The flower features four leaves and a simple blossom. Measures 7" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top. Excellent Condition. A dozen minor chips inside the rim (1/8" to 1/4"- closeup) and a couple minor 1/8" nibbles and a 3/8" flake outside the rim. That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs.
