I am clearing out a lot of parts I accumulated when I was building live steam locos and engines. For sale now is an assortment of butane gas tanks, both Roundhouse and homemade, some vertical boiler shells, one has a water gauge with drain on it, two gas valves for commercial butane tanks, two fillers, 5 gas jets (assorted #3, #5 and #8 sizes) and fill valves for the butane tanks. These are left over from some scratch build projects and may be useful to live steam modellers. The boiler shells are made by Cheddar, but won't steam! They were made to a special order for a project that never got off the ground. I bought them along with gas tanks, fittings and burners and discovered that the flue is far to small to allow good flow of the burner products to steam properly. One boiler has the flue cut oout and a larger flue with cros tuber reasdy for installing. The othres are as supplied and can be experimented with. There are two Roundhouse butane tanks with integral gas valves, three flat tanks that will need valves, one has the screw fitting for the vlave missing, one Cheddar round gas tank with gas valve, and two homemade tanks that can use the two valves threaded for commercial camping lamp tanks. There are some fill valves and two fillers. What you see in the picture is what you get. I'm starting the bidding at $25 as it's hard to read more
