From Prestige Records (PRLP 7180) this is BOSS TENOR by GENE AMMONS , an original mono pressing (deep groove & thin edge) in fine condition . The jacket shows seams intact and sturdy with spine nicely blocked and printing dead center. All corners show rubbing and there's a clean, one-inch split top seam at opening. The glossy front surface is beautiful (see photo) with no outstanding flaws or blemishes; back surface shows minor fading all corners with no outstanding disasters. Overall, the cover rates a conservative EX MINUS, maybe better. The original inner sleeve is present and in VG condition. The LP visually grades about NEAR MINT MINUS showing no spindle marks both sides and no scratches on the playing surface. The vinyl retains its original lustre; it shines! However, the album play-grades about VG+ with long passages of NEAR MINT+!
