This Rare,natural plum/red genuine Irish blackthorn has been seasoned for at least 3 years.It weighs an impressive 681g,and is rock solid.It is 36 1/2" long, and the rootball head is 5 3/4" in circumference.The shaft is a uniform 4" circumference from under the head to the bottom, where a brass ferrule is fitted(a rubber ferrule will also be included).The colour is natural, as blackthorn, are not naturally black.These true blackthorn, are becoming much harder to find, especially ones of this size,and has been enhanced by several fresh coats of clear hard wearing varnish.
