You are bidding on GENUINE PRE-COLUMBIAN POTTERY HUMAN FIGURAL FORM NASCA For your consideration we have a Genuine Pre-Columbian Pottery Human Figural Form or Statue. It measures approximately 7" tall. This piece shows some of it's original dirt but the colors and images depicted on this piece are clear and rich. Colors used are terracotta, brown, black white, cream and beige. The form is also decorated with various designs. This piece is either a man or a woman whose hands are resting on the side of it's head. The legs are horseshoe shaped with the little feet protruding outward's. T is a face of a man painted in between the legs on the front of the body/form. This vessel also has a handle and a whistle or straw like projection on the back of the handle. We do not know what this was used for. The piece is not a perfect round form, it actually slants to one side and if you touch it, the piece will rock back and forth. This item is Pre-Inca from around 800 in Peru - NASCA I am again selling for my customer who has a large collection of Pre-Columbian art from his father. His father was in the State Department in the 1950's in South America and collected these pieces, and more, during that time. My customer inheritied these items upon the passing of his father.
