A George IV Sheffield Plate Covered Vegetable Dish, Blagden, Hodgson & Co., 1821-1830, the domed lid with acanthus and shell handle, rubbed-in silver shield with crest and motto "Vi et Virtute" (by strength and valor), the deep circular dish with three part divider, hot water compartment, removable wood handle, height 9 in., diameter (bowl) 12 in.
